Every major AI. One subscription.

The problem

Every AI has its strengths. One writes better, another searches the web, a third is more rigorous with numbers. To benefit from them today, you need several subscriptions, several tabs, and you have to copy your question everywhere. And when you only ask one, you never know whether its answer is the right one.

What Danoo does for you.

01 — Side-by-side comparison

Three answers, in columns.

Select up to three models: their answers appear side by side. “Keep” saves the best answer; “Continue with…” carries on with a single model.

The conversation keeps a single thread: with every question, the models start from the same base. The comparison stays fair from the first message to the last.

02 — ✨ Auto mode

Danoo picks for you.

Not sure which model to choose? Danoo picks one based on the nature of the question. For example, news and weather go to a model that searches the web.

03 — Projects and history

Your conversations, organized like files.

Folders and subfolders with icons, colours or emojis, favourites, history search and drag-and-drop.

04 — Document analysis

Drop a PDF, ask your questions.

The text is extracted right in the browser: the file never leaves your computer.

For example: flag the negatives in an inspection report, find the pet clause in a condo declaration, analyze a tax return or review a textbook chapter.

05 — Image creation and editing

Create or retouch.

Generate an image or retouch an uploaded photo, with your choice of Google’s or OpenAI’s engine.

06 — Voice

Speak, listen.

Dictate your questions, with Canadian French speech recognition, and have answers read aloud.

07 — Answers your way

Your style, set once.

The register and style of the answers (conciseness, tone, etc.) are set once and for all.

08 — Ease of use

Your way, on every screen.

Light or dark theme, 9 accent colours and 5 text sizes. Well-formatted answers: headings, tables, code with a Copy button. On mobile, compared answers become swipeable cards.

09 — Simple sign-in

No password.

Sign in with a 6-digit code sent by email, or with your Google account.

The story

Why I designed Danoo.

I designed Danoo because I used several AIs every day to analyze heavy documents or write presentation documents. I wanted to compare their answers without juggling subscriptions.

So I set up a pay-as-you-go API key for each AI: direct access, billed on actual usage rather than one more subscription.

A serious product, already built.

What’s in place

  • The danoo.ai domain and the Danoo brand: in the logo, the two “o”s form a pair of glasses.
  • A complete web application, live at www.danoo.ai in beta. Technologies: Next.js, Supabase (PostgreSQL), Stripe, hosted on Vercel.
  • Built-in subscriptions: payment, customer portal, prorated plan changes, cancellation, tax handling.
  • Security enforced at the database level: each user only sees their own data. Neither the plan nor the models’ answers can be changed from the browser.
  • An administration dashboard: API costs, revenue and profit by period, in Canadian dollars.
  • A multi-provider architecture: adding or replacing a model only touches a single module.
