A broker who knows Saint-Michel
A real estate broker since 2020, I work on the South Shore and in the Montérégie. The neighbourhoods, new developments and recent sales in Saint-Michel are part of my everyday work.
Saint-Michel is the market-garden countryside of Les Jardins-de-Napierville, and I love guiding people here who want space without turning their back on the South Shore.

Saint-Michel is a farming municipality in the Les Jardins-de-Napierville RCM, not to be confused with the Montréal neighbourhood of the same name. The area was once called La Pigeonnière, after the Pigeon family, before the parish was placed under the protection of the Archangel Michael in the mid-19th century. Its land produces potatoes, carrots, blueberries and other vegetables, among other crops. Residents include farming families established here for generations and households choosing village life along Route 221.

Saint-Michel is part of the horticultural "garden" of Les Jardins-de-Napierville, with many vegetable and small-fruit farms.
The 1855-1856 church, whose bell tower was shortened after it collapsed in 1937, still dominates rue Principale.
Religious heritage
Built in 1855-1856 and attributed to architect Victor Bourgeau, the church has kept its painted decor by Toussaint-Xénophon Renaud. Acquired by the municipality in 2014, it now houses the library while remaining a place of worship.
