A broker who knows Mont-Royal
I've lived in several Montréal neighbourhoods, where I also worked for 10 years. The neighbourhoods, new developments and recent sales in Mont-Royal are part of my everyday work.
What I love about Mont-Royal is that you can still read the 1912 plan: two grand boulevards crossing at right angles in the middle of a park.

Town of Mount Royal was born from a Canadian Northern Railway project, which developed a model city to finance the tunnel under Mount Royal opened in 1918. Incorporated in 1912, it was designed by planner Frederick Gage Todd on garden-city principles. Its plan was recognized as a national historic site of Canada in 2008. You'll find mostly families in the residential areas, while the western part is home to shops and businesses along the major roads.

Park
At the intersection of Laird and Graham boulevards, Connaught Park is the heart of the town plan, and its roses are its signature. The rose garden has borne the name of Pierre Elliott Trudeau since 1985; he was the member for the Mount Royal riding from 1965 to 1984.
