Sainte-Julienne is the seat of the Montcalm RCM. The first settlers arrived around 1840; the place was then called Village Beaupré, and the parish, founded in 1848, bears the name of Saint Juliana Falconieri. The territory combines a village core, agricultural rangs and wooded areas dotted with lakes.
