Real estate broker inMarieville

I like Marieville because it has kept the heart of a small farming town while staying connected to Montréal via Autoroute 10.

Living in Marieville

Marieville occupies part of the former seigneury of Monnoir, granted to Claude de Ramezay in 1708, in the middle of the Rouville farming plain. It became a town in 1905 and, in 2000, reintegrated the parish of Sainte-Marie-de-Monnoir, from which it had been separated in the 19th century. Agriculture remains its main economic activity, and the town serves as a service hub for the neighbouring rural municipalities. It attracts families, retirees and first-time buyers who want a full-service town within reasonable distance of the city.

My favourite spot in Marieville

Marché de Noël de Marieville

Event

Every early December, rue du Pont welcomes producers and artisans from the region for a Christmas market held since 2010. It's a lovely way to discover the flavours of Rouville as a family.

« I find that the Christmas market and the summer public market really show what Marieville is all about: a town that lives to the rhythm of its producers. »
