Living in Granby
Granby is the seat of the La Haute-Yamaska RCM and the largest city in this part of the Eastern Townships. Crossed by the Yamaska North River, which feeds Lac Boivin, it merged with the Township of Granby in 2007. The city brings together a cégep, a hospital centre, industrial parks and the famous Granby Zoo. You will find as many young families as retirees and workers who commute to the Montréal area.

Founded in 1953, the Granby Zoo combines an animal park, an amusement park and the Amazoo water park. It is also a recognized conservation organization, with some of its animals belonging to threatened species.
