The Plateau-Mont-Royal stretches along the foot of Mount Royal, between downtown and the Mile End. Its landscape of duplexes and triplexes with outdoor staircases makes it one of the most photographed neighbourhoods in Montréal. La Fontaine and Jeanne-Mance parks, shopping streets such as Mont-Royal, Saint-Denis and Saint-Laurent, and its many cafés keep neighbourhood life lively.
