What I build.

Computers are one of my passions. In 2012, I was in charge of information technology at Urgence Médicale Code Bleu. Today, I build my own real estate tools: modules that answer buyers’ real questions, right on the property listings.

My real estate modules

Buyers’ real questions, answered in seconds.

Every module starts from a simple address. Try them with any property you like.

01 — Sun module

Which way does the backyard face?

From an address, the module traces the street, works out which way the backyard faces and calculates the sun’s path by season and time of day. You finally know how many hours of sun the yard gets, and when.

02 — Financial calculator

Numbers that follow Canadian rules.

The minimum down payment for the price, the mortgage loan insurance premium (CMHC) based on the down payment, and interest compounded semi-annually, as with Canadian mortgages. Monthly or bi-weekly payments, plus the welcome tax at each municipality’s rates, Montréal boroughs included.

03 — Map system

The neighbourhood, layer by layer.

An interactive map, built with Leaflet and OpenStreetMap, where you turn layers on one at a time: schools, daycares, health, parks, transit and more. Everything around the property, at a glance.

04 — Daily life module

Daily life, in minutes.

The nearest school, grocery store, park and other useful places, in minutes, by car, on foot or by bike. On the listings, buyers can even enter their workplace or their kids’ school.

These modules are live on the equipeaj.ca property listings, and I offer them to brokers in my custom websites.

Centris property listings

The team’s properties, connected to Centris.

  • Liveequipeaj.ca

A property listings module connected to Centris

I built it for equipeaj.ca, the Annie & Jasmin Team’s website. Every one of the team’s properties has its own listing, fed by Centris: photos, description, room details, municipal assessment, taxes and expenses.

And on every listing, the sun, daily life, neighbourhood and numbers modules answer buyers’ questions before they even visit.

This site

No WordPress, no Wix.

This site doesn’t use WordPress or Wix. It’s generated by an engine I built in Python, which assembles every page as static HTML: a site that’s fast, secure and easy to evolve.

It’s the same approach I offer brokers with my custom websites.
