A real estate broker since 2020, I work on the South Shore and in the Montérégie. The neighbourhoods, new developments and recent sales in Carignan are part of my everyday work.
Carignan is countryside 30 minutes from Montréal, and I find it fascinating that traces of a French fort from 1665 were found here.

Carignan surrounds the city of Chambly and is divided into two parts, on either side of the Chambly Basin. Its name, adopted in 1965, honours the Carignan-Salières Regiment, whose soldiers built forts along the Richelieu starting in 1665. The territory consists of small residential pockets surrounded by fields growing mainly corn, wheat and soybeans, and includes several islands, among them Île Goyer. Families and commuters to Longueuil and Montréal settle here for the space and the proximity of Autoroutes 10 and 35.
