Saint-Cyprien-de-Napierville completely surrounds the village of Napierville and covers nearly 98 km² of farmland crossed by the Rivière L'Acadie. The parish was established in 1823, and the municipality became separate from the village of Napierville in 1873. The territory was at the heart of the Patriote uprising in 1838; rang des Patriotes keeps that memory alive. It is a rural setting, popular with farmers and with families who want space close to the services of Napierville.
