Living in Waterloo
Waterloo was incorporated as a village municipality in 1867 and obtained town status in 1890. The arrival of the railway in 1861 triggered rapid growth, and the old rail line has now become the L'Estriade bike path. The town stretches along Waterloo Lake, at the foot of Methodist Hill. You will find families, retirees and commuters who enjoy the access to Highway 10.
