Real estate broker inSaint-Édouard

When I show people around Saint-Édouard, I often start with rue Principale and its old stone church: the whole village grew up around it.

Living in Saint-Édouard

Saint-Édouard is a farming municipality in Les Jardins-de-Napierville, crossed from south to north by the Rivière de la Tortue and bordered to the east by Autoroute 15. Its modern history begins in the 1820s with the seigneury granted to François Languedoc, who had a manor and mills built here. The parish was established in 1829 and the municipality in 1855. Today it is home to farmers, families attached to village life and commuters who enjoy quick access to Autoroute 15.

The local economy is based on agriculture, notably potatoes, dairy and poultry.

My favourite spot in Saint-Édouard

Église de Saint-Édouard

Religious heritage

Built of stone between 1830 and 1833, it is one of the oldest churches in the region and still dominates the heart of the village on rue Principale. Its wooden-vaulted interior and its organ, installed in 1892, are worth a stop during a drive along the country roads.
