Real estate broker inVal-David

In Val-David, I find that you buy a way of life as much as a house: the artists, climbers and P'tit Train du Nord cyclists make it a village apart.

Living in Val-David

First called Belisle's Mills, after a sawmill owner, Val-David became a village municipality in 1921 and owes its name to Louis-Athanase David and his father Laurent-Olivier David. The village has attracted artists, such as the poet Gaston Miron and the double bassist Charlie Biddle, and has kept a strong cultural identity, notably with the 1001 Pots ceramics exhibition every summer. Its rock faces have made it a renowned climbing destination in Eastern Canada. You will find artisans, families, outdoor enthusiasts and retirees.

My favourite spot in Val-David

Parc régional Val-David–Val-Morin (secteur Dufresne)

Regional park

The park offers about sixty kilometres of hiking trails, mountain biking trails and more than 500 climbing routes, a few minutes from the heart of the village. In winter, you can enjoy Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking.
