Living in Mascouche
Mascouche is crossed by the Mascouche River and by Highway 25, while Highway 640 runs along the south of its territory. Originally the parish of Saint-Henri-de-Mascouche, founded in the mid-18th century, it took its current name in 1971 and has seen strong residential growth since. Montée Masson, its main commercial artery, leads to Old Mascouche, and the station that opened in 2014 links the city to Montréal by train. Families and commuters make up a large share of the population.
