Living in Eastman
Eastman was born in 2001 from the merger of Stukely, founded in 1796, and the village of Eastman, established in 1888. Located on the western slope of Mont Orford, the municipality has several lakes, including Lac d'Argent, source of the Missisquoi North River, as well as Lake Orford, Lake Parker and Lake Stukely. Modest for a long time, the population began to grow in 1975, when the area's recreational and tourism potential was recognized. Today the village attracts families, retirees, remote workers and cottage owners.
