Living in Bedford
Bedford is crossed by the rivière aux Brochets, which divides the town into a north sector and a south sector. The first settler established himself here in 1812, and in the late 19th century the village became an important commercial centre. Its downtown still has three historic churches, including the Anglican church built in 1834. You will find families, retirees and residents of the surrounding countryside who come here for its services.
